halloween....e

well, to state the obvious, its halloween. and seeing as how i am not a huge fan of halloween, nor do i care to celebrate it by dressing up in a costume - one that is expected to be slutty. so, i worked and came home. but since i was so behind, today is supposed to be about yesterday...a much more fun day and not nearly as exhausting.

yesterday was alyssa's birthday. yea!! i love birthdays...moreso my own, but i love pretty much all of them. so, i met alyssa out to get a pedicure - i was a little hesitant at first due to money issues and really needing to be studying and all of that, but i wanted to go and i wanted to celebrate her and it was amazing. i am was sitting there getting massaged and soaking my feet in a warm tub, drinking my chai tea, and all i could think was...so worth it. plus, i got my toes painted in the color 'belize it or not'. hahahaha. that made me day right there. so pedicures in the morning and then off to class...

class was okay, not a big deal, but i was glad i went because he canceled class on thursday and also gave us our 3rd test - to take home. nice. thats one less thing i have to worry about and now i dont have to go to school at all tomorrow...oh yeah, except to take that test i was supposed to be studying for and that i keep putting off. dang it.

after class i drove back over to 'shady grove' to meet up with alyssa and paul and katie for a birthday lunch. it was so much fun. the weather was so perfect so we ate outside and it was great. i was super late to work because it was such a great time. i made her wear a birthday crown and sash and everything. i am glad i was around to be able to celebrate and hopefully make her day special and memorable.

then work, per usual. it was a slow night so i was able to get a little homework done and that was nice since i didnt do any all day.

a quick rundown of today...got up and studied, went straight to school and took my test - got a pretty good grade on it so i was satisfied. now i only have one more, i must get up and take that one tomorrow morning. i actually must get up and study tomorrow morning and then go take the test. blah. after my test, i went to target to get some halloween socks to wear to work tonight. i came home and made halloween funfetti cupcakes to bring to work - amazing. i could seriously eat so many of those things.

work was crazy tonight. abnormally busy and everyone was running around and being grouchy and it wasnt really all that fun to be honest. it wasnt horrible, but i got a headache and there was just so much going on with new admits and phones ringing and it was chaos.

tomorrow holds the test and if i have time, i need to run a birthday errand and then i have work...then 2 days off!! well, not counting the certification class at 8am on friday morning. ugh. i am gonna try and go to sleep now so i can get up early and study...hopefully i can block out the noisy and drunk halloweeners outside my house...
